SecureLA Unites Leaders to Drive Innovation in Regional Safety, Mobility & Real-Time Intelligence
On December 9, 2025, EyeP Solutions, Inc. hosted its fourth SecureLA: Security & Technology Roundtable at Dodger Stadium, bringing together public safety, transportation, and technology leaders from across California for a day of focused discussion around real-time intelligence, coordination, and regional readiness. The roundtable was designed to encourage practical, peer-driven dialogue, giving agencies the opportunity to share operational insight, discuss current challenges, and explore ways to strengthen collaboration across jurisdictions.
The event opened with a keynote led by TranscendX, featuring its XOS Lab—an interactive experience centered on communication and coordination across people, processes, and technology. Rather than a traditional tabletop exercise, the session emphasized open discussion and realistic, scenario-based problem solving. Participants examined how teams communicate and make decisions during everyday operations, identifying opportunities to improve collaboration and make more effective use of existing systems.
A panel discussion followed with Lt. Eugene Kim from the Beverly Hills Police Department and Nikki Bell from the Vacaville Police Department, offering a real-world perspective on the role of Real-Time Crime Centers (RTCCs) in modern public safety operations. Panelists shared how integrated data, real-time video, analytics, license plate recognition, drone programs, sensor platforms, and CAD-driven intelligence support situational awareness, officer safety, and coordinated response efforts. As Los Angeles prepares for large-scale events, such as the Superbowl, World Cup, and Olympics, the conversation highlighted the growing importance of RTCCs in supporting regional preparedness and resilience.
Facilitated discussions throughout the day allowed attendees to engage directly with peers on shared challenges, including information sharing, public-private partnerships, mobility and infrastructure modernization, and the operational use of emerging technologies. The format encouraged candid conversation and practical exchange, reinforcing the value of collaboration across agencies and disciplines.
